Calmodulin Coated Plates

Calmodulin Coated Plates are designed for binding specific proteins mainly with hydrophobic sites in their surface.

The surface of Calmodulin Coated Plates is obtained by physically adsorbing Calmodulin protein to the polystyrene surface without that polystyrene optical features are modified. This allows Calmodulin Coated Plates to be used as a valid tool to carry out biological tests.

Examples of applications for Calmodulin Coated 96 Well Plates are:

  • interactions with proteins involved in glycogen metabolism
  • interactions with factors involved in neurotransmission mechanism
  • interactions with enzymes involved in the NAD*/NADP* phosphorylation system
  • reduced risk of spontaneous desorption

Biomat Calmodulin Coated 96 Well Plates are made in Transparent, White and Black Polystyrene and can be used for quantitative and qualitative immunoassays like ELISA, Chemiluminescent (CLIA) , Luminescence (LIA) and Fluorescence (FIA) assays.

Calmodulin Coated Microplates are pre-blocked in order to minimize any non-specific binding and to ensure long-term stability.
