Surface
The Carboxylated Treated PCR 8 Strip Tubes are 8 connected 0.2 ml tubes made in clear polypropylene; they have thin walls that optimize the heat transfer from the block to the reaction solution. The Carboxylated Treated PCR 8 Strip Tubes are offered with their flat caps; they are easy to open and close without tools and are compatible with most popular thermal cycler blocks.
- Each PCR strip tubes has each numerically identified tube (from 1 to 8) for easy recognition and the strips have a holding strap at one end.
- Recommended working volume of 50 to 100 μl

Carboxylated surface on Carboxylated Treated PCR 8 Strip Tubes is dedicated to promote the covalent immobilization of compounds containing reactive free amino groups using the EDC mediated amination. This kind of immobilisation can overcome some of the limitations connected with physical adsorption of the molecules to the surfaces such us small peptides (M.W. 1,000-5,000 Da) drugs, toxins or hormones and can provide an oriented immobilisation of molecules in order to secure the integrity and accessibility of their specific sites.
