During tests it’s very important to use a good washing buffer because it is able to separate bound and unbound reagents/serum components: our ELISA Wash Buffers are designed to effectively remove excess unbound material without disrupting the ELISA binding reaction from the microplate. Thanks to their optimal formulation that balances pH, salts and detergent, the ELISA Wash Buffers are able to maintain the proper buffering environment, reducing nonspecific background noise and increasing the specific signal.

We offer:

  • Phosphate buffer saline 0.01 M pH 7.2: it’s a balanced salt solution and is one of the buffers most commonly used for washing in ELISA or Western blotting assays. It’s an isotonic  and non-toxic buffer to cells. It’s offered 20X concentrated in liquid or powder form.
  • Phosphate buffer saline 0.01 M pH 7.2 with Tween® 20: phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution with the detergent Tween® 20 is a balanced salt solution and is one of the buffer most commonly used as a wash solution for Western blot membranes and microplate wells ELISA assays. It’s offered 20X concentrated and only liquid form.

Both Biomat ELISA Wash Buffers wash away unbound molecules to the wells without interacting with the antigen-antibody bond that has formed.

Wash Buffers reagent for ELISA are compatible with all commonly conjugate components such as HRP, AP, biotin binding surface and more others. Click here to discover other Biomat surfaces or our  96-Well Plates.
