Amine Treated Plates

Amine Treated Plates offered in different formats are suitable for binding peptides or other molecules through covalent specific bonds.

The surface of Amine Treated 96 Well Plates,  manufactured with primary amines, is dedicated to promote the covalent immobilisation of compounds that contain reactive moieties such as amino, carboxyl, or thiol groups via well-known homo-heterobifuncional linkers. This immobilisation can overcome some limitations such as:

  • immobilisation of molecules which are bound weakly or not at all by physical adsorption, namely small peptides (M.W. 1,000-5,000 Da) drugs, toxins or hormones
  • oriented immobilisation of molecules in order to secure the integrity and accessibility of their specific sites
  • increased storage stability compared with that of physical adsorption because of the reduced risk of spontaneous desorption

Biomat Amine Treated 96 Well Plates are made in Transparent, White and Black Polystyrene and can be used for quantitative and qualitative immunoassays like ELISA, Chemiluminescent (CLIA) , Luminescence (LIA) and Fluorescence (FIA) assays.
