Poly-L-lysine Coated Plates

Poly-L-lysine Coated Plates can be used to exploit their high density of cationic groups to react through electrostatic and stereospecific bonds.

The surface of Poly-L-lysine Coated Plates is obtained using a synthetic molecule rich in α amino, α carboxyl, ε amino groups without that polystyrene optical features are modified; this allow the modified surface to be used as a valid tool to carry out biological tests. Poly-L-lysine Coated Plates are also ideally suited for the adhesion of cells, since the cell surface is known to be negatively charged.

Examples of applications for Poly-L-lysine cell culture Plates are:

  • interactions with plasminogen and plasminogen activator;
  • interactions with ribosomal RNA;
  • interactions with double stranded DNA.

Biomat Poly-L-lysine Coated 96-Well Plates are made in Transparent, White and Black Polystyrene and can be used for quantitative and qualitative immunoassays like ELISA, Chemiluminescent (CLIA) , Luminescence (LIA) and Fluorescence (FIA) assays.

Poly-L-lysine Coated Plates are pre-blocked in order to minimize any non-specific binding and to ensure long-term stability.
